Pre-Recording Speaker Slides and Poll Question Set Up

For Virtual Speakers

Faculty that has a Virtual Speaker role will be asked to pre-record a session and are required to submit their presentation for review before the start of the meeting. (The Global Summit is a fully virtual course.)

The deadline to submit slides in the Virtual Presentation Review Upload task is 48 hours before your scheduled recording appointment.

For In-Person Speakers

Faculty that have an in-person speaking roles (Speakers, Presenting Authors, Plenary Presenters, Patient Presenters, etc.) have the opportunity to upload their slides for review prior to the meeting. This saves time in the Speaker Ready Room and ensures presenters have the opportunity to make any edits for CME compliance with their slides.

  • The deadline for slide upload prior to onsite is Monday, October 6th at 11:59 PM ET. Presenters will receive an email in September with further information.

  • Any pre-submitted final presentations for CME review will take place between September 22 – October 6. When approved, slides will be forwarded to your presentation room onsite and will be ready for you. There will be no need to stop by the Speaker Ready Room.

Poll Question Set Up

Speakers are encouraged to include live poll questions in their presentations to boost audience interaction. To participate, simply add your poll setup directly into your slides and submit them via the pre-submission portal by October 6th.

ACR staff will coordinate with vendors to ensure your questions are properly configured and accessible in the mobile app during your session.

Speakers will receive an email in September with further information.

Onsite Speaker Ready Room

If onsite presenters do not choose to upload slides prior to October all other speaker slides are due to a minimum of three (3) hours prior to your session start time. Please bring your slides to the Speaker Ready Room in McCormick PlaceW179 AB – Level 1 on a flash drive.
