Who should use the Meeting App
Everyone attending the meeting in person!
The Meeting App puts you in control of designing an experience that fits your personal needs by allowing you to easily search through 500+ scientific sessions, 2000+ abstracts, networking events, etc., and build your own personal schedule. The app also has onsite information and interactive maps to help you navigate the convention center, allows you to find and chat with other attendees, plus so much more!
You do not need to be registered for ACR Convergence in order to use the app, so anyone can browse the schedule and view onsite resources.
Registered attendees can log in to access additional benefits, like interacting with other attendees, downloading session materials, and accessing their personal schedule and saved content from multiple devices. See the Features only available for registered attendees section for more details.
Download the Meeting App
Follow these steps to download and install the meeting app:
- Search the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store for "ACR Convergence 2026".
- Download and install the app following the on-screen instructions.
For the best performance and experience using the app, make sure your device's software is up to date. Devices older than 5 years might not be supported.
If you are using a laptop and don't have the ability to download the app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, we also have a desktop version you can use: https://eppro02.ativ.me/web/planner.php?id=ACR26. There are some slight differences between the app and desktop versions, and not all features are available, so we recommend using the app whenever possible.
Features only available for registered attendees
Everyone has the ability to download the app and use most features, but a few features will require you log in first because they are only available to attendees registered for either an In Person Pass or In Person Plus Pass.
Features only available to registered attendees after logging in:
- AI Assistant
- Networking
- View Attendees
- Chat with Attendees
- Download session materials / slides
- Export notes and bookmarks
- Access your personal Schedule and other saved information from multiple devices
Even though you can create your personal schedule, add bookmarks, and take notes without logging into the app, we recommend you do log into the app before you start making any of these updates, otherwise your changes might be lost once you do log in.
Log into the Meeting App
If you are registered for either the In Person Pass or In Person Plus Pass, and you want the ability to chat with the AI Assistant or other attendees, access your personal schedule and other saved information from multiple devices, download session slides, or email your bookmarks and notes to yourself, you will need to log into the app in order to gain access to these features.
Follow these steps to log into your ACR Account:
- While on the Home screen, click the More option on the bottom right
- Click Login / Settings.
- (Note: Features only available to registered attendees will automatically take you to the Login screen.)
- Click the blue Login button to proceed to the next page.
- Click the box to accept the app's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, then click the ACR SSO button to proceed.
- (Note: the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are for app developer, ATIV software, not the ACR.)
- You will be redirected to the ACR's Login page on the ACR's website, rheumatology.org, using your device's default internet browser.
- Enter your ACR Account username/email and password then click the blue Log In button.
- Once you have successfully logged in, you will be redirected back to the app, and you'll see "Account Active" displayed at the top of the screen.
Important notes about your ACR Account:
- If you are registered for ACR Convergence with either an In Person Pass or In Person Plus Pass, you already have an account. DO NOT create a new one.
- If you are not sure what email is set as your username, it is likely the email address where you received your registration confirmation email, or it is the email address where you most recently received an email from the ACR.
- If you have any trouble, or if you would like to use a different email address, come see us at the ACR Help Desk by Registration on Level 1, or email us at membership@rheumatology.org for assistance.
- If you use the reset password function, the system will automatically send an email to the email address you enter, if we have an account with that email address.
- The email will come from acr@rheumatology.org with the Subject Line of, "American College of Rheumatology Password Reset Request". The link to set a new password will expire in 24 hours.
- If you did not receive the email, check your spam folder.
- If you need assistance, come see us at the ACR Help Desk by Registration on Level 1, or email us at membership@rheumatology.org.
Browse the Schedule
There are several ways to browse through the available sessions, abstracts, posters, and the various activities happening throughout Convergence. This section covers 5 options available on the Home screen.
- The search bar at the top of the Home screen is a great way to find a specific session, abstract, disease/topic, speaker, etc.
- If you want to browse through everything available, go to the Home screen, click the Schedule card on the top left, then select one of the filter options to narrow your search.
- The available filters include:
- Browse by Day allows you to see everything, regardless of the Session Type or Session Format.
- Browse by Session Format allows you to quickly filter to sessions that are hands on, in person only, in person and will be recorded (aka on demand), or virtual (which is only the Global Summit on Friday).
- Browse by Session Type allows you to quickly see sessions and activities by their overall category, like scientific sessions, abstract sessions, posters, networking lounges, and so much more.
- Browse by General Topic allows you to browse sessions grouped by topic, like Basic Science, Clinical Science, Pediatrics, Workforce and Education.
- Browse by Speaker Name allows you to search by individual speakers, so you can see all of their sessions and/or abstracts.
- All of the filter options show the results the same way, except Browse by Speaker Name:
- The top of the page has a search bar.
- Directly underneath the search bar, you can choose to see All Results, or you can select a specific day.
- All results will be grouped by the time of the day, with the earliest activities showing at the top.
- The far left side of each 'card' shows the Session Type, which are color coded to help aid your search.
Additional filter options are available by clicking the Filter button on the top right.
- The Schedule button located on the bottom right of the Home screen is similar to the Schedule card described above, but this option shows information in a visual calendar format and offers a few additional options.
- The default view shows the overall program schedule, grouped by Session Type.
- You can click on these to see the specific sessions included.
- The layers icon on the top right (grey and orange squares) allows you to include (or remove) items you've added to My Schedule, which will display over the default view in bolder colors.
- Click the icon to toggle on or off to include items from My Schedule.
- The menu (aka hamburger) icon on the far top right gives you two options you cannot find anywhere else:
- You can add your own items to the calendar, like if you are planning to meet someone for lunch.
- You can export the items added to My Schedule by emailing them to yourself as iCal, PDF, and CSV files.

- The Abstracts card allows you to browse a pre-filtered view that only includes Abstract Sessions and Posters.
- The Industry Sessions card allows you to browse filtered views for either all Industry Supported Sessions or filtered to only Industry Supported Symposia, Innovation Theaters, or Mini Talks.
Create My Schedule
There are so many sessions and activities throughout ACR Convergence it can feel impossible to keep track of everything - but you can using the My Schedule feature! You can add almost anything you see in the app to My Schedule: Scientific Sessions, Abstract Sessions, Plenary Sessions, Posters, Poster Tours, Networking events, and Industry Supported sessions and events.
There are two ways you can add something to My Schedule:
- While you are browsing the Schedule, press on the item you want to add and hold for 1 second
OR - When are viewing an item's details, click the Schedule button at the top of the screen
Items added to My Schedule will have a little calendar icon when you are viewing the Schedule, and the Schedule button will be a solid color (see examples below). Simply repeat the steps listed above if you want to remove an item from My Schedule.
Send messages to other attendees
Attendees registered for the In Person Pass and In Person Plus Pass can message each other through the app. This feature is only available AFTER you have logged into the app, and the only attendees included in the list are either speakers or other types of meeting faculty and attendees who have opted into being included in the list.
Once you have logged in, to find attendees to message, go to the Home screen, click More on the bottom right, then select Networking. You can search for attendees by either viewing the Attendee List and searching for their name, or you can click on the other options in the Networking section to search based on interests, hobbies, or country.
Add or remove yourself from the Attendee List
The only attendees automatically included in the Attendee List are meeting faculty, like our speakers and moderators. Attendees who are not faculty must opt in before they will be included in the list.
Follow these steps if you want to opt into being included in the Attendee List:
- On the Home screen, click More on the bottom right
- Click Login | Settings
- If you have not yet logged into the app, click the blue Login button and follow the steps to log in, then come back to #3
- If you are already logged in, this page will show "Account Active" at the top
- Click My Profile then Edit
- Toggle on Show in Attendee List
- Alternatively, if you have already turned this setting on and now you want to remove yourself, you can toggle this option back off
- While you are on the Edit Profile page, you can also add a profile picture and add more information about yourself to make it easier for other attendees to find you
Download session materials / slides
If a speaker has given us permission to share their slides or other materials, we will upload the file(s) to the session page, and a red PDF icon will be displayed. Some speakers provide their slides prior to their session, while others might prefer to wait until after their session. Speakers are not required to share their slides, but most do. Attendees must log into the app before they can download the session materials.
Follow these steps to download the session materials / slides:
- Make sure you are logged into the app
- Go to the session page
- If you see the red PDF icon, the slides have been posted and can be downloaded - just click the icon to start the download process
- For large sessions with multiple speakers and presentations, you will need to scroll down a little and click on the individual presentation topics
Manage App Notifications
If you do not want to receive notifications from the app, you can turn them off in the app settings.
Follow these steps to turn on or off push notifications directly from the app:
- On the Home screen of the app, click More on the bottom right.
- Click Login I Settings.
- Click Open Settings
- (You might need to scroll down a little. This option is below the Login button.)
- Toggle to turn on/off notifications.
Alternately, you can turn off notifications by going into your device's general settings and modifying the app permissions.
